If anyone should know what date Jesus was born, it should be Irenaeus as he lived in the early second century. He is the one that confirmed that Jesus was born on December 25, NOT CONSTANTINE.
I would like to submit two very powerful pieces of evidence:
1. Irenaeus said it. As a “Church Father”, and religious authority, not far from the time of Christ, he should know.
2. Nobody refuted Irenaeus on the date. Apparently everyone knew, or at least accepted it to be true.
This whole Nimrod thing is moot. I seriously doubt he was born on that date. But even if he was, so what! There were millions of people born on that date, both good, and bad.
Something to think about.
