Extraordinary Dream

On the morning of Pesach I had a very unusual dream.

Very rarely do I ever have a dream that even approaches this magnitude of spiritual significance. The last time I can remember was about 10 years ago. But it was not of this magnitude.

This is what I dreamed:

I was in a meeting room. Not sure where it was. It was a small room. It would be about big enough to fit maybe 50 people in.

There was one other person in the room. It was a young lady. Not sure who it was. But she was on one side of the room. And I was on the other side of the room.

The room was very plain. I mean the walls were off white in color. And there were no pictures or anything else in the room. I think there might have been a table. But that’s it. It was like a small conference room.

We were worshiping and praying. I wasn’t playing guitar. But I could hear music. Both the young lady and myself were standing, praying and singing. I was singing the song “There is a Redeemer”.

I was singing the chorus, “Thank you, Oh My Father for giving us your Son. And leaving Your Spirit ’till the work on earth is done.”

I can remember hearing a guitar clear. A very distinctive sound. It was played very clearly in a way I never heard it played before. It was an electric guitar. The picking of the notes were distinctive, with a clear, clean midrange tone.

Then something very supernatural happened. I suddenly felt an intense anger against the sin, false doctrine, and corruption that is invading the church. It was a supernatural righteous indignation.

Within seconds I felt the anger shift into sorrow. I felt a GREAT sorrow, and tears started welling up in my eyes because of the sin in people’s lives, and the false-grace doctrine that supported it.
It was an intense sorrow – very overwhelming sorrow. It was like feeling the heart of God BREAK!

Then suddenly, within seconds of feeling that, the Glory of God appeared! It was like a layer of thick, luminous fog that covered the ceiling and was about 1 foot thick. It was like thick fog that hovered over our heads, close to the ceiling. It was very visible, and it had a light source of it’s own. It was like a light-emitting fog.

When it appeared, without even thinking about it I raised my hands to bless the Lord. Immediately the Glory of God consumed me. Everything else faded away and I was captivated, and consumed by His Glory. The room, and the other person in the room disappeared as His Glory overwhelmed me. Then I woke up.

It was very real, very beautiful, very intense, and very scary at the same time. It was more intense than anything else I ever experienced. I thought I died and went to heaven.
